This is not a joke my school banned all LED lights because I brought in some cheap plastic LED light bulbs and gave them to my friends and we just walked around with them to intimidate teachers and students

The reason they banned them was because they can shatter (as plastic so notoriously does of course) and have toxic chemicals (unlike very safe glass fluorescent lights)
