On this day 3 years ago, I joined this website. I initially joined on this account and @Auriali the same day. What I didn’t expect was to still be here with now 100+ followers on each, being verified, and have a myriad of other accounts and even a brand account lol. I remember still when I and other designers joined here on the same day, folks like my good pals @perrin, @micah and @burrito (follow them), it was pretty hectic getting my bearings, but weirdly enough I sorta started to find my vibe here and got into a groove. There’s been a few ups and downs, but what I’ve come to appreciate is how wasteof doesn’t try to feed me what it thinks I want, rather letting me control my experience. And I mean sure, the site is small, but I think part of the fun of this place is the niche of it, a place built mostly by one Swiss dude since he owned the funny domain name. I’ve now also been around long enough to see mobile apps be made, browser extensions, and even wasteof3 and wasteof4 (which I am hyped about). Anyway, I just wanna thank you, whether you follow here for my high effort stuff, or my near enough brainrot on Auri, I appreciate it. Here’s to hopefully more years of wasting money! ❤️💰
