My Kendrick Lamar rankings:

8th: Overly Dedicated (Mixtape)

Definitely exceeded my expectations, just had some weak tracks on the back-end and not enough replay-ability overall but most tracks are really solid.

Rating: 7/10

7th: Section.80 (Album)

It has more lows for me compared to Overly Dedicated, but it has way more highs with production definitely being improved. The start of the album is one of Kendrick’s strongest to this day.

Rating: 7.5/10

6th: Untitled Unmastered (Compilation)

For leftovers from TPAB, it’s very high quality for the most part - no real highlight for me, but overall i was very impressed with this project.

Rating: 8/10

5th: GNX (Album)

Whilst GNX has a few weak moments like the title track, much of this album has Kendrick’s most re-playable material to date. My main problem is the bland instrumentals on some of the first tracks on the first half of the album.

Rating: 8.5/10

4th: DAMN. (Album)

This album is amazing, and in some spots near-perfect.

Rating: 9/10

3rd: Mr Morale & The Big Steppers (Album)

An album that has grown on me so much recently - it features excellent flows and personal lyrics, wrapped together by some of Kendrick’s best song ideas.

Rating: 9/10

2nd: To Pimp a Butterfly (Album)

This album has an incredible concept, production, lyrics, flows…… incredible project.

Rating: 10/10

1st: good kid, M.A.A.d City (Album)

amazing.

Rating: 10/10
