Thought I’d share the branding I did for my newest wasteof account @wastedonion, aka The Wasted Onion. The account posts the best news article from satire news site The Onion every weekday (and I also try to post other articles posted during the week or older articles on weekends). I came up with the branding for fun just to muck about and ended up quite liking the pixel black-letter font for the logo and glitchy sans serif font that I paired it with - I also added some neat pixel icons from SVG Repo that I modified. The account is a homage to @onion which was a bot made by imadeanaccount that posted the newest article from The Onion every day. It’s been fun picking out the best articles each day (as well as writing my own) and finding good articles to post each weekend and I hope you’ve enjoyed the account so far! I’ve got some other cool ideas I wanna try out hopefully if possible, so look forward to that! 📰
