In 1928, a man from rural Russia who brought six human-eating chickens to Moscow for a show and then a very expensive meal for the highest bidders got arrested and imprisoned after the chickens broke out of their cage and devoured 2 people, including a 3 year old child. The species went extinct in 1999 due to global warming of the tundra. Only a few encounters have been recorded.
