So Australia is trying to ban social media for kids under 16, which iirc includes twitter, instagram, facebook, ect. But you can go down quite a deep rabbit hole on what is “social media”. Reddit? Scratch? Or even wasteof.money? 👀

Parents should not let their kids be on the bad social medias. Don’t infringe on everyone’s privacy and freedom to do what parents should already be doing

seems like a pain in the ass to implement and enforce (wtf u gonna do, send em to jail?), surely itd just be better to regulate what is legal for social media companies to do (e.g. no personalised feeds perhaps)
