i love how a whole bizarre story can start from “i have an idea, why not make a (horse) race spanning from san diego to new york for fifty million holy liberty-filled united states of america blessed dollars” and then expanded with a plot twist into

“the president is using this race from san diego to new york (with cashprize of fifty million) to gather [the] corpse parts [of a saint that died long ago]”
