i fail to understand the appeal of stanley cups

like, of all the things we could have turned into status symbols, we decided to go with an overpriced water bottle? really?

there are so many knockoffs too, but they don’t really count. even the mini Stanley cups are status symbols too. I have a friend who owns two mini ones and one of the normal size.
