The main problem is moderation, it’s hard to moderate pfps when you have a platform that allows people under 13. Unlike Blaze which gets no attention so nobody bothers to upload bad stuff as pfps, Meower does get a lot more attention (almost 13x as much) and we’ve already had NSFW raids before.

Well, in all fairness:

1. You use Wix, so those profile pics are stored on their servers, not yours.

2. Meower (to my knowledge) is coded from scratch, so it would a little harder for them to obtain a larger server to hold those profile pictures in general, much less animated profile pictures

They do have a server, but yeah adding custom PFPs is much more difficult than just enabling the “Profile pictures” option in Wix

This is coming really soon to Meower, uploads.meower.org already exists with over 20k uploaded files and will soon allow anyone to upload a custom pfp :)
