that’s the Mac Pro, also even apple fanboys agree that it’s a rip off. You can get the Mac Studio with the same chip (M2 Ultra), ram, and ssd for $3000 less.
idk - the M2 Ultra is almost as powerful as a 13900k and comes with 64GB of ram. To get a PC with those specs is about $4000 - the same as the Mac Studio. So it’s pretty comparable (unless you don’t like macOS).
apple literally makes all their money on upgrades tho, it’s like $360 to go from 8 to 24 gb of ram on the MacBook Air, and $360 to go from 16 to 32 gb on the MacBook Pro. And like you said, it’s only $120 for a 64 GB ram stick. And it’s even worse for SSD, it’s $180 to go from 512GB to 1TB on the MacBook Pro, and it’s $180 for each additional TB on top of that. And you can find a 1TB SSD stick for like $60-70 🫠💀
better idea: get Pixel Buds
pixel buds work with apple as AirPods work with android
ah okay
the AirPods pros are on sale now for $200, which is why i’m considering it. otherwise, I would look at more options
that's quite expensive for headphones 🎧
it’s the apple tax at work again
I saw that there was some Mac pc selling for 7k, is that correct? Just build your own PC, or make a Hackintosh.

or buy a PC just a powerful for 1.5k and install macos on it

64 gigs of RAM is like $100 💀
ik it comes free on M2 ultra
yeah, but you mentioned that it's 4k, so the RAM is probably iRAM (haha)
it’s actually unified memory, so it’s a different animal than normal RAM. I think it has ECC built in. It has 800 GB/s memory bandwidth.
even then it's like $120
whatever, apple needs to make their money somehow 😔

its so stupid, frfr buy a framework laptop and put msx on it if you’re looking for cheap-ish upgrade.
