why is repl.it so special, I see a lot of people using it but it also costs money and your projects are public?
It doesn't cost money if you know a special trick: the way it works is that websites only stay up if people are actively using them, so if you find a tool that will make a request to your website every few minutes, it'll stay up forever.
at that point you can just use the device that runs the pinger to host the website in the first place
well, unless you can’t access your router settings to set up port forwarding or you’re referring on a pinger repl
