no, that's actually not a lot of money.. they have to pay employees, servers etc. plus a free plan means their expenses would be higher, without actually getting any more money.
They make $1M in revenue annually (they said so) and they have 4 employees so, unless they spend like $900k a year, each of the employees is very well paid
fair enough. but their costs will definitely be much higher with a free plan. plus they offer a self hostable solution so theres really no reason for them to host it for free for people who don’t want to pay

also i don’t see how they make $1m a year if it’s open source and self hostable, unless people are just lazy
