I got a CD player and amp to connect both record player and CD player but as a cruel twist of fate my speakers aren't compatible with the amp output, so they only get raw audio out without master volume. And I don't have a few hundred bucks to drop on speakers, this is all stuff I stole from the family 😔

Today's fun vinyl fact: there is a very big difference in the weight between bargain vinyl I have and uh AAA vinyl. Comparing war of the worlds ($5) and Hawaii part II ($35) is like Styrofoam and cinder blocks
