been poking around alpha for a little bit, and the little bits of eyecandy here and there is appreciated. it’s basically a much more polished wasteof3, and it doesn’t need to be much more, honestly.

i did wind up switching back to vanilla firefox after an update removed (i think) the option to have the tab bar collapse when not hovering over it (correct me if i’m wrong)
just tried running a game (just like a 2d platformer, nothing fancy) under wine (didn’t feel like wasting time messing with windows) and it ran fucking beautifully, i’m impressed, controllers worked and everything
there ain’t no way-*googles*—-well “spiritual successor” but ok
among my many new years resolutions is to try emacs
my longest running fixation has been outdated software/operating systems/abandonware and media older than me in general
i’m not concerned, i’ve just accepted it as a part of my personality
