I'm happy to announce that i have permanently quit using certain conventional languages, including but not limited to go, python, lua, bash, and more. from now on, i'll be writing all of my projects in PHP. SparkShell, along with everything else I've developed, will be rewritten to conform to the new standards. long live PHP!

i got a bit bored so i decided to draft a whole hack club ysws (you ship we ship) based around making cool things with fuse (filesystem in usespace). the website is written completely in golang, and emulates a terminal/shell. it’s all compiled to wasm so it runs quite well in browsers.

elon musk proposed giving everyone in the US $5,000 as a result of DOGE. DOGE has supposedly saved about $16 billion, but if you do the math, he's only saved about $2 billion (source: NPR... keep in mind that this not a lot compared to the $6.5 trillion the US gov spends each year). and then if you calculate everyone who would be eligible for this money, that equates to avoid $1,200,000,000,000 (240 million people * $5,000). now how's that for savings/government efficiency!
