I love NMS so much

It’s like 5 different games smashed together which you can meander through at your own pace

I randomly found a settlement and became the overseer of it, and while fighting off sentinel drones one of them dropped an undamaged shell, and a few quests later I have a little drone friend and I love it.

Also the base building is so fun (except for building walls because that can be super finicky) there’s so many little decorations, I have a bunch of different parts of my base, including a fishing pier :D

Also the ship you get from destroying a sentinel capital ship (which isn’t too hard on normal difficulty) is insanely good
