movie review:
‘The Social Network’ (2010) is an entertaining and occasionally funny film that dramatizes the first few years of Facebook. i was surprised by how authentic sounding the techy parts sounded. i also like how all the characters are depicted as flawed, and there's no clear ‘good guy’.
i wonder about the ethics of making a highly dramatized film about living people though. but clearly it didn't turn out too bad for zuckerberg.
in 24 hours i will have been to every location from cars 2 (apart from radiator springs, which is not a real place)

to be clear about alpha/beta, wasteof3 (currently the beta site) is being skipped. it's only still online because some people rely on it.
it served as the base for wasteof4 (currently the alpha), which has all the same features but a much better interface and design. i don't think alpha is going to be publicly accessible until it just launches for everyone (and by then wasteof3 will be turned off)
this is a long term plan. the api won't be affected.
