Eventually, he finds a suitable location under a large bush, clears the snow out underneath it, and leaves the buttons on a large piece of bark. Later that day, when Coal returns to the spot in the woods, he finds the buttons gone and something else left in their place!
Pulsar gathers the others around and explains how, one time, Nestor was standing in the road to protect some not-cats while they crossed it. One car, however, didn't quite stop in time! It bumped (gently) into Nestor, startling them into growing a little bit bigger and staring at the humans inside with all 100+ eyes. Alder looks worried and asks what the humans did next, but Pulsar shakes his head. "The humans were never seen again!!" Clide interrupts to say that that's not true at all. The humans probably didn't think anything of it. "Surely humans have seen a lot of eyes before! They even have their own eyes most of the time."
Every cat in the village is cozy in bed, except for raxd. The moons are full, the stars are sparkling... there's no way raxd can sleep under these conditions!

raxd tiptoes down to the lakeside and sees the moons in the water. What luck! He is just close enough to touch the smallest moon with his paw. Splish! Splash! The little moon is much wetter than he expected.

Atleast with Meems and qxva fighting each other over who should be mayor (none of them!) they aren't helping each other out… “keep your enemies separated, they make better targets”… I could swoop in and gain a victory but I need to choose what to represent… I already know I want to:
Reform the mayoral system to include an obligatory co-mayor, starting this election (the second place winner would be co mayor unless they refuse then it’s the third etc etc).
Improve Darflen prosperity with a how development that everyone else has failed to give so far - advertisements, including a head of advertising, TOS reworks, and improving relations with other sites are 3 key ideas I have currently.
