ego interrētiāriōs plūrēs sequī volō, sed nesciō sī latinistae alterae in hāc adsint sī nōn
i’m studying latin but the only things I could read in this without google translate were “sed” “in” and “nōn”
ego - “I”
interrētiāriōs - a neologism meaning “internet user” in the accusative plural
plūrēs - “more”
sequī - “to follow”
volō - “I want”
sed
nesciō - “I do not know”
sī - “whether”
latinistae - “latinists” in the nominative plural
alterae - “other” in the nominative plural
in
hāc - “here”
adsint - “they are present”
sī - “or”
nōn
the sī … sī nōn construction here is meant to mean “whether or not”, though in might be that sī nōn sī … is more common, usually sī on it’s own means “if”
(also this is the first time i’m saying anything in english on this account, i don’t know if this counts as violating the account’s gimmick though since it is related to latin)
Oh, welcome back
:)
