okay guys, weird 3am idea time
what if in the distant future, humanity became robots and we could only consume cds (for whatever reason)? so you could eat something like. a hamburger disk programmed to taste like a burger (but it’s really just metal)
i think elon musk/some other stupid billionaire is going to try this with neuralink or something as “a way to eat a salad without realizing you’re eating a salad” by overriding the nerves in your mouth to feel like you’re eating a hamburger, for example.
it sounds like it’d be a nice concept but then you realize it’d probably be horrible nutrition-wise
i mean, wouldn't it actually make people healthier? you could feel like you're eating whatever you like but you could actually be eating brocoli (or a very balanced diet with protein, vitamins, minerals, idk etc.)
