This is supposed to help the color contrast for color blind people
I think the change is for a good cause, but it’s still sad.

Now, I hope for a toggle
but the primary audience of scratch I guess is new users which happen to be children and I don’t think they’ll care because kids are much more accepting of other people than adults are.
I think it will look worse but I understand it’s a big issue as scratch could’ve been sued for not being colourblind friendly - hopefully an option to customise the navbar will be good for the future
Scratch wouldn’t have gotten sued, who would sue them? I don’t think they would have gotten fined at all. Accessibility isn’t a requirement.

I haven’t actually checked scratch for what purple they use but I know the wiki uses purple
