just learned this but you can use deviceName.local as an alias to your local address.
so wynd my my computer’s name so wynd.local:5173 goes to what i’m working on if you are on my wifi you can see it :))))

even better, get pihole and be like me and make a dns record of radi8.laptop for 192.168.8.201 and go to radi8.laptop:8000
