I almost feel bad saying this.

Easily hateable people get hate. It’s just a fact of the internet. If you don’t want hate, don’t be so easy to hate.

Patriotism is hateable. That’s just a fact. You, being patriotic, are also hateable.

A hateable person is not a bad person. A hateable person is a person who isn’t afraid of their own opinion.

If one person nagging at you for patriotism is going to get you down, then maybe it's time to stop being hateable.

Otherwise, join the club.

I’m not saying that, I’m saying that what your saying makes you sound like some goober who thinks that military superiority is the answer to everything. The US has a lot of big problems, there are things that are good about the country, but it’s undeniable that it has a lot of glaring issues. Responding to “your country kinda sucks“ with “we could kill you“ is just flat out barbaric.
