Sometimes when I'm bored I just look around Google Maps until I find some cool-looking island in the Arctic Circle or something and then fall down a 2-hour Wikipedia rabbit hole about that one specific place
Then, two hours later, I know the entire history of some random hunk of freezing rock in the middle of nowhere
